Elevator Pitch pt. 3
Reflect:
What stood out most to me was the need to go slow and be animated. It's so much more interesting to watch someone who seems into their product and who genuinely wants to do a good job with it over someone who is monotone. Also, I think it is important to at least scratch the surface on how exactly you plan to make your business work. I think that investors or possible mentors would be more inclined to want to hear more about a opportunity if you have a general idea of how you can make it successful.
Changes:
I didn't make too many changes from the second time to this time. I added a little more emphasis on my statements and put in a little bit about how I knew the company would be successful. I talked a bit about the interviews I had conducted to show that there is a market demand and that people are generally interested in the potential product. To be honest though, I think my second time was a bit better than this one. I think that I was more excited about the product and just overall has a better presentation. When I looked back at the second one after filming this one I just noticed how I seemed more open and engaged. If I were to do this pitch for real, I would want to include the energy and presentation of pitch number two and the facts and speech of pitch number three.
I agree with what you were saying between the two pitches. It seemed as if you had more energy when you were doing the second one. I feel like I did when i was doing mine. Also, I like how you included a piece of your pitch that was dedicated how to make your business successful. Keep up the good work! Maybe this will be a real thing some day.
ReplyDeleteI liked your energy and hand movements. Those gestures really caught my attention! I really like how you said you will be conducting interviews because with those interviews you want to hire the best people for your company. Towards the end, I like how you took the time to voice the audiences' opinions by indicating how important their feedback was.
